Age of Sigmar League 1000 points
Welcome to our first Warhammer Age of Sigmar league!
The league will meet every Wednesday at 6pm to play. Games must end by 10pm, most of them will probably end sooner.
We will be using the rules and battle plans from the 2026-2027 General’s Handbook, following the map sequence from the Scorched Coast Landings crusade on pg 10. (This book will be available for reference in the store).
You must use the same army roster for each game in a point section. They must be submitted before the start of the first game. You can submit them as a Discord message to parboiled_mice in the Delight Discord, email them to delightcottagegrove@gmail.com, or bring a physical copy with you to the first game.
Proxies are allowed. They must be on the correct base size, and roughly the same size and shape as the model they are representing. You must declare to your opponent what the proxy is representing before the start of the battle.
Your army is not required to be fully painted.
There are general guidelines on each battleplan for where terrain should be, but Sigmar terrain is not exact. Players will set up the terrain before the battle following the core rules, and the guidelines on the battleplan.
Delight currently does not have official Sigmar terrain. If you have any, or any proxies of appropriate size, please bring them for your battle! Otherwise we will be using various 40k ruins and D&D terrain as proxies.
If you have any faction terrain, you must bring an appropriate terrain piece as part of your army.
We will play for 3 weeks at 1000 points, 3 weeks at 1500 points, and 3 weeks at 2000 points, with a one week break in between each section.
Entry will be $15 for each point section.
Prizing will be based on the total paid as entries for each point section:
1st - 50% of the pool in store credit
2nd - 30%
3rd - 20%
Standings will be based on league points as determined below:
Glorious Victory (win by 5 or more points) - 5 league points
Minor Victory (win by 1-4 points) - 3 league points
Draw (same points and # of tactics completed) - 1 league point
In the event of a draw in league standings, if one drawn player does not have a fully painted and based army, they lose the draw.
Otherwise, we will also be tracking victory points from each game. In the event of a draw in league standings where both armies are either painted or unpainted, average victory point score will be the tiebreaker.
If both players are still drawn after these conditions, they will split the total prizing for both of their ranks.
